Under President Biden the nation had a good economy and social stability.

Good times.

Those were the days when the US had a constitution. Then MAGA started wiping their ass with it and it no longer exists.

No one was ever murdered before or since, whew!

I just can't imagine the horror of a world where health insurance CEOs actually fear consequences for profiting off people's suffering and denying care. Terrifying stuff.

Well, they did. But MAGA has been trained to believe only CEO lives matter.

I remember the eight years that Obama was president. I could stop wasting time by screaming at the Sunday morning political TV shows and cursing Bush. I had some personal issues at the time, but I felt like the country was in great hands.

I remember the young black girl who worked in our department. She said she wasn't going to vote, because we lived in a red state. I told her that people had fought and died for her right to vote, and even in a red state, the popular votes are counted. She promised she would.

The day after the election, I walked into the office and saw her beaming face. She couldn't believe it, Obama had won!

That was back when I had hope as Obama had spoken of.

It was wonderful when the POTUS took orders from someone in an Easter Bunny costume.

Now it seems almost impossible to find a senile person who sniffs children that is trustworthy.

Yeah, for me the last days of the Obama administration were the last days when it was reasonable to describe America as great. We had domestic stability and were respected and envied around the world. Trump ended that in his first term, and although Biden partially reversed the damage, the job was unfinished. Now the sharp decline.

Agreed. And so sad. I really thought that we as a nation had evolved and were pursuing the right things.

But Trump ended that. I was sick with dread for four years, breathed a giant sigh of relief when Biden won, but Trump just wouldn't shut the hell up and go away. And here he is again. And the America I've lived in for 72 years is circling the bowl. I'm just glad that my father isn't here to see this mess. He was a WWII veteran.

I genuinely believed the majority of Americans had gotten over their fear of black people and was beginning to realize the real issue in this nation was the growing disparity between the wealth class and the rest of us. Boy, was I wrong. These bigoted Americans also fear the brown people, but more as a proxy for black people. They know they can deport the brown people, so there is relief valve for that fear, but they can’t do anything to black people other than to continue to demonize them.

In 2024, the inflation rate was 2.9%; Putin started the war that Trump loves; and you’re not retard, just ignorant.
